New Nature Hoodies

Those of you who have followed me for a little while will know that I had to stop using my usual stockist for clothing as they introduced some measures involving AI changing artist’s work and I could not support that.

Well I have now moved to a new stockist, I’m so happy with them and I hope you will be too!

I have kept the nature inspired clothing shop there really simple, there are currently thirty designs, all on hoodies. I went with men’s hoodies as in my experience women usually choose those anyway.

What I like most about them is their ethics and sustainability.

These hoodies are 50% organic cotton and 50% material that has been recovered, shredded, and spun into new, recycled fabric.

There are no animal derived products, nothing has been tested on animals.

The factory uses renewable energy such as wind and solar to minimise polution.

Their packaging is paper based with no plastic and no animal based products used. It can take hundreds of years for plastics to break down and even then there are micro plastics to consider. Paper can degrade in soil in weeks.

They regularly have tree planting events.

There is even a QR code on the label so that when you have completely worn it out, it can be sent back to be recycled again!

So you can have as many nice, cosy hoodies as you want while still making an ethical and sustainable choice.

I love having products with my work on available, I know that you probably only have wall space for so much art and if you choose mine then I’m honoured to have my art in your home. Products like hoodies offer other options for anyone who enjoys my work but may have full walls.

I don’t want the things I create to harm the planet any more than I can help, in my art practice I do what I can to be more mindful and sustainable (I’ll write more about that another day) and it’s important that any products with my work on follow similar principles.

I do not want to offer plastic tat and stuff that will be thrown away. I would rather offer quality items that minimise their environmental impact in order to care for the nature we love, and I think these hoodies do just that!
