What is a Giclée Print?

Giclée prints show finer detail and last longer than regular art prints, they are high-grade prints which are archival for up to 200 years, they embody exceptional quality and durability, similar to museum-grade standards..

How to care for your Giclée Print?

  • Avoid contact with liquids
  • Try not to touch the print much, when you do need to handle the print, try to touch it as little as possible.
  • Avoid displaying your print in direct sunlight
  • Avoid placing your print in high temperature and humid environments
  • Frame your print, ideally under a UV protective surface, but even normal glass will help to protect it from dust, dirt, and UV light.

Sustainability

Paper

My prints are made using sustainably sourced recycled paper stock.

Ink

These prints are made using plant-based, vegan friendly inks that have excellent lightfastness meaning your print is made to last.

Plant based inks produce significantly fewer pollutants than the petroleum-based inks that are often used to create art prints. They’re also biodegradable, renewable and non-toxic, And when it’s time to recycle prints, plant-based inks are easy to de-ink. No harmful chemicals are needed to remove the ink from the paper; fewer chemicals mean it takes less energy to process paper.

The inks are free from

• Phthalates, bisphenols and photoinitiators

• Aromatic amines

• Nanomaterials

• Materials subject to California Prop 65 labeling

• HAP – Hazardous air pollutants

• TAC – Toxic air contaminants

• Particulate matter emissions

Please note – I have edited the images to ensure that they are as close to the original colours as possible, the monitor or screen you are viewing this page on may affect how the colours are displayed.
